Our offices

We offer brand new state-of-the-art offices in the heart of the east end with great transport connections. We are right next to Whitechapel Station, served by the District, Elizabeth, London Overground, and Hammersmith & City underground lines, putting all of London and beyond within easy reach of the town hall.

Annual leave

Our generous annual leave for full time posts, starts at 29 days a year plus an extra three days between Christmas and New Year, and bank holidays. After five years, leave increases by four days.

Pension

Our employees can join the Local Government Pension Scheme. This is a career average salary scheme, so your pension benefits are guaranteed and do not depend on how investments perform. We pay into the fund on your behalf.

Season ticket loan

Staff can apply for an interest-free loan to purchase an annual season ticket.

Rent Deposit Scheme

The Rent Deposit Scheme offers staff an interest free loan to help pay a rent deposit when moving into a privately rented home. The amount of loan will be up to the value of the net monthly pay.

Employee assistance programme

Our employee assistance programme provides free confidential counselling support services for both personal and work-related issues.
